Merkator launches first marketing campaign

In September 2013 Merkator has launched a first marketing campaign towards the local Benelux geospatial community. The ad wants to trigger the audience with the key values of the young company where the business workflow plays a central role in our market approach. Merkator supports many leading geospatial (GIS) products and solutions but is convinced that, in today's world, an approach where the changing business workflows, the existing geospatial and non-geospatial data , interfacing systems and subsystems and future demands takes the lead in our exercise to find the right solution for our customers. 

"An image is saying more than 1000 words". The sober ad, available in both Dutch and French, wants to reflect this with images of the markets we serve: Utilities & Telco, Government, Transportation and Public Safety.   

The advertising has been published initially in both GeoInside in The Netherlands and GeoPlatform in Belgium.   


Merkator GeoSpatial IT-Solutions was founded in 2008 and consists of two distinct companies: Merkator BV in Groningen and Zoelmond (near Utrecht) and since 2011 Merkator NV/SA in Zellik (near Brussels). Together, the two Geo-ICT companies look for continuous room for innovation with customer satisfaction as its highest priority.
